Go.Farm is an emerging agricultural investment manager with over $1.2 Billion in Assets Under Management. Go.Farm has a unique investment approach, identifying underutilised and undercapitalised agricultural assets, and transforming them to their highest and best use.
Go.Farm’s expertise lies in land-use change and asset reconfiguration achieved by their investment in people, technology, productivity and sustainability. They have successfully executed strategies across greenfield developments, brownfield reversions, rainfed and irrigated farming systems, annual crops and permanent plantings across multiple geographies.
CHALLENGE
Due to a strategic restructuring of their investment team, Kaizen Recruitment was engaged to recruit a newly created position of Head of Research and Investments.
This position would oversee a Research and Investment team and would focus on creating an investment thesis and commercially assessing relevant agricultural investments (circa $100M transactions).
The ideal candidate needed extensive investment management experience from an agricultural or real assets investment management or mergers and acquisitions background. They would be required to be hands-on in managing a small dynamic team, managing the entire investment portfolio, and proactively engaging and presenting to Go.Farm’s investment committee.

As part of our research, we gathered additional market data on salaries and bonus structures to support the offer negotiation process.
